Photowalk at CKBS 4th of August.

No sooner did the clock struck 8:30 am, we were there busy posing for our group photo! No idea what am talking about? hahaha, fret not, it's our latest co-branded PW of ODOP-LC and KKPR at Chintamoni Kar Bird Sanctuary most popularly known as Kayal er bagan.

Chintamoni Kar Bird Sanctuary also known as CKBS (Narendrapur, 24Pgs(South), West Bengal,India) situated at south Kolkata and near Narendrapur Ramkrishna Mission. This is also known as Kayal-r Bagan. This place is famous for the place for birds. This garden is famous for availability of wide variety of birds, butterflies, ferns and orchids.

This Sunday 4th of August our Photo walk for this month took place, and everyone was happy to be a part of it. The weather was nice, it didn't rain a bit, was raining so much for the past few days and it got us worried, lucky we are!

After this cool group photo, we got into our business and started clicking whatever we saw.

The entry fee for CKBS is 50 INR.

Too much mosquito in such a beautiful place. We had to constantly move around in order to stay safe from them.

Finding a bird is really a breathtaking task, and for that the most important thing is to be quiet. Pin drop silence. But for few it was no big deal, and they proved it right :)

Exploring Baithakkhana Market-Sealdah. *Street Photography unplugged*

Photowalk? Sounds cool right? once again we all witnessed an amazing photowalk by ODOP, and this time we spent the evening at Baithakkhana Market.

The day started off with heavy shower at different parts of the city, it was cloudy n sunny at the same time, but we all prayed for a nice blue sky for the evening and guess what the evening was picture perfect. Around 4:30 we all met near Sealdah as planned!

And as we were done clicking group photos, we wasted no time and got into capturing anything and everything we managed to see. Muddy, noisy the streets, sweaty, breathless we were at times due to busyness of the area, but yet everything was welcoming, and the local people were so good that they even posed for our camera instead of selling their stuffs!

And as the day came to an end, we all headed towards Barista at Gariahat, and spent another hour or two over a cup of cappuccino and moccachino!

Saw many new young and interesting faces...all in all the day went well, thanks to all the ODOP’ians!

Photo lovers day out at Indian Museum

Sunday 19th the most awaited day of the month. It was Photo lovers day out and this time it’s Indian museum with team KKPR! Met at 11 am near the main entrance, got our bags deposited, and with just a camera in our hands we started our journey of exploring the museum. Clicking under low light was a tough thing for most of us, but still we managed to click whatever we wanted to! Started out the day with clicking, and ended the day with mouth watering lunch! All in all..photowalk with team KKPR went well!

All in all, it was a lovely summer afternoon!

Chaitra sale photo walk

Some moments are here to stay, and some just fade away. Just like the chaitra photo walk that took place on 14th of this month has left some good and everlasting memories that we will cherish forever.

It all started at 4:30 pm. We all gathered in front of the star theatre near hatibagan and walked until shyam bazaar, in the way we visited charak mela at Beadon Street and had fun on the road by clicking photos of anything and everything.

Some got hungry and gulped few golgappas, some were thirsty and had sodas and some smoked their heart out!

We walked, we got tired, we sat on the sidewalks, we clicked photos of one another, we laughed, most of all we shared the moments together.

We ended the day by visiting Mitra cafe at shyambazaar.
